FastViewer Supported – Today´s solution to solve problems on-line
Your customer has problems with his software or does he need any other support? No problem. Often it is a mere trifle and a view on the customer’s computer is sufficient to fix the problem. But if this computer is far away, telephone-support can become a difficult and time-robbing affair.
The Supported is the FastViewer solution for all cases. Therewith you can actively interact on the other computer. That is real on-line assistance - at any time, at any place. All you have to do is to start a FastViewer session and exchange the meeting number. Then you can immediately access the remotely PC and solve the problem. It also works across Firewalls, without any input of IP addresses or other administrative obstacles.

FastViewer SideBar
The use of an application is up to 75% determined by the operability. The approach to the control, the sight and the change of the settings result in a "usage-feeling".
With the V3 we can now offer you a user interface with the highest possible acceptance. Among the new design we ware successful in reaching the highest form of usability with the new FSB. Furthermore, the FSB offers with a simple click access to the entire online communication of FastViewer.
Session List
Conspectus creates security. Especially with the use of communication systems it is important to know, what is shown and who has which rights and the control. These information need to be visible fast and clear. FastViewer developed therefore a new session list. The presenter sees all important information of the participants at a glance. "One click to success" is the measure of all things. FastViewer prevents uncertainty through to transparency.
Application filter
Now, you are able to share more than one program. If you there are for example two Word-docs on your screen, you can decide which one should be transferred.
Monitor
If the presenter has several monitors, select which one should be transferred. This is for a better overview and operability. Click on the respective monitor for transferring. By clicking between the shown monitors the entire virtual desktop will be shown.
Chat
In this window all send chat messages incl. timestamp and sender are shown. You can configure who has the right to use the chat. You can deactivate the chat function for specific participants by clicking the "Off"-button. They will now still see the chat, but are not able to write a message. Select if your chat message should be sent to all participants. You can also send it just to one explicit participant.
Fileboard
Share your files with your participants by uploading it into the fileboard during the session. They can now download this file if needed.
Video
With the video transfer you can show your web cam images during the session. The most important feature is the possibilty to select the video quality, the video source and the transfer control. Every user only receives the amount of images that suites his capacity.
VoIP (Voice over IP)
The VoIP solution, which is integrated in the V3, offers you the possibility to commmunicate completely with the FastViewer application. If you have an online meeting with many participants, they can particpate to your presentation without dialing an expansive teleconferenz number.
Information
Here you can see the used communication server (the server, which is used to connect master and client). "Connection type" shows the reportwhich is used for the communication. At "Receiving/Sending" you see the amount of bytes, that are received/sent per second. "Total received/Total sent" is the total amount. "Version" shows you the used version number. Please check regularly that you use the latest version.
Telephone conference
FastViewer gives you the possibility to arrange telephone conferences spontanious and without any prior notice. You can communicate audio visual in association with FastViewer. Perfect for conferences and trainings - location-independent, world-wide and at any time.
File transfer with "Ordnersync"
If an online support application does not have any "Ordnersynch" it wastes resources. Especially time-resources of the employee, who has to synchronise everything manually and thus can not do any support parallel. Through to the "Ordnersync" FastViewer shows again its aims to make today’s technology usable in the best way. Also new is the possibility to change attribute in the data system for e.g. removing the write protection of a file.
FPM (FastViewer Portmapper)
FPM - this abbreviation stands for an enormous progress in implementation technology. Use the FastViewer transfer technology and connect the TCP ports you need. The portmapper is a real innovation in the Desktop Sharing sector. Thus you are able to mapp as many ports of the opponent at the local ports as you want, e.g. analyse remote SQL server with local data bank tools, configure telephone systems, programme SPS, mapp print server in the remote network, etc.
SysInfo
The SysInfo contains important information of the system status of the PC, like e.g. the CPU capacity or the available disk space.
Whiteboard
Working together is the top aim of online collaboration. Therefore efficient tools are necessary. The new FastViewer Whiteboard is a perfect tool to optimise the collaboration of session participants. Whiteboards are an essential help to visualise ideas and concepts in many offices. FastViewer puts the Whiteboards on the desktops of the participants - needless to say, in usual FastViewer-speed!
Record function
You have the possibility to save all activities of the session as a video. The record is audit-proof and does not need any external player for playback.
