New FSB
(fastviewer Side Bar)

The use of an application is intended for 75% by its handling. Control-access, appearance and customization options are crucial to get the "usage felling". The V3 gives you now a user interface with the highest possible acceptance. Beside the new design the new FSB succeeded the highest level of usability. Furthermore, the FSB provides you with one click access to the entire on-line communication managed over fastviewer. This principle reflects the strategic goals of fastviewer:

Video

Connect yourself with any number of participants (only limited by the bandwith), adaptive adjustment of the framerate to the transmission rate.

With our video transmission tool you can transfer your webcam pictures during the session. Most important features are the selectable video quality and sources as well as the performance dependent transmission control. To each user only the quantity of frames will be transferred, which corresponds to his individual interconnect performance.

Voice over IP

The integrated V3 Voice over IP (VoIP) solution allows you to build up the complete communication through fastviewer. When planning an on-line meeting with many participants, it now can take place without expensive special xxx-conference call phone numbers.

New Whiteboard

Working together is the highest goal of on-line collaboration. Therefore you need powerful tools. The new fastviewer Whiteboard is a perfect tool in order to optimize the co-operation of the meeting participants. Whiteboards are in many offices indispensable visualization assistance for ideas and concepts. Fastviewer brings the Whiteboard now on the desktops of all meeting participants in the well-known fastviewer performance.

Filetransfer with Ordnersync

Working with an on-line support application which does not use Ordersync, means to waste valuable resources. Especially employers who have to adjust everything manually may suffer under a lack of time in daily business. Ordersync allows to manage different support actitivies easily and now even includes a new feature to change attributes in the file system in order to e.g. remove the writing protection from a file. With its Ordnersync application fastviewer proves again his shows again how to use today`s available technologies in the best possible way for an advanced usage.

Fileboard
This feature gives you an easy overview of the available files in the download area. This is what we call file board. Naturally, you can select, who is allowed to up-load files and who is not. Customers pay for use and not for features.

Optimization of individual access
With the new V3 software it is not any longer a problem to connect participants in a meeting with different bandwith connections.

Viewer Window
Several sessions in a Viewer Window, what is the customer’s benefit? Experienced on-line supporter would answer you promptly: better overview and fast switching  without leaving the application. This makes daily business for the Power supporter much more easier. Furthermore, the tab function allows highest flexibility by accessing individual sessions fast and uncomplicated. Here again fastviewer demonstrates its advanced technology which benefits to the customer.

Session Lock
Unwanted reconnection to a meeting? Fastviewer has the solution! There are many reasons for a double or triple meeting protection. Fastviewer therefore developed a two-level protection system: first level is a unique access code number, second level requires a password. If all participants are in the meeting, one person can now lock „the door to the meeting area“ from inside. Even if an unauthorised person knows the code and password of this meeting, it will be impossible to get access again, due to the 3rd (inside) lock. This safety function is interesting also with large meetings. Troublemakers can become really „distant“ without again entrance to receive.

New communication channel variety
Ensuring the connection is a main objective of fastviewer. There it is important, that a communication ways can be changed during the meeting. With the new V3 it is now possible to realize this. What is the customer’s benefit of a feature to changing channels, if he has to close the session before he can use it? In addition to that, fastviewers handles all current protocols (TCP, HTTPS, HTTP). This emphasizes again the technical advancement of our software solution and leads to the fact that we focus on the customer’s benefits. “Easy to use”, our technology provides the answer to that.

FCR (fastviewer COM Remoting)
FCR - this abbreviation stands for an enormous progress in technology implementation. With the COM Remoting technology there is a huge time benefit for our technology partners when integrating our application in existing subsystems and IT-infrastructures. With this topic, fastviewer follows its strategy to integrate itself easily as a key component for on-line communication into large system solutions. FCR enables a fast and resources-saving access to on-line communication. fastviewer can be operated/navigated e.g. via VB-Script. This makes it much more easier to integrate fastviewer into other applications and projects.

WEB Client
What do we need, in order to participate in a meeting? Correctly, using fastviewer you only need a browser and internet access. Mobile phone with browser? Ok! Neither further installations, nor a flashplayer are necessary. Operating system? We do not care! Start the browser and the meeting runs. Via web you are the participant with pointer and the possibility to participate a meeting wherever you are. Just start the browser. With the WEB client up to 1.000 persons can participate in the same conference. The WEB client is based on HTML and needs only a Java Script capable web-browser. Thus it is applicable on each operating system. That means, it is possible to display it under Windows Mobile as well as on your Blackberry or iPhone.

Free Application choice on window level
Now you cannot only unblock individual programs like e.g. Microsoft Word, you also can select separate individual window frames. If you have two Word documents opened, you can select, which Document should be transferred.
